The White House, in its latest remarks regarding the attack in New Orleans, stated that President Joe Biden has been briefed on the developments of the incident and is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with authorities.

Earlier on Wednesday, an individual used a truck to ram into a crowd at the intersection of Canal and Bourbon Streets in the city. The attacker then exited the vehicle and opened fire, resulting in the deaths and injuries of approximately 40 people. The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has launched an investigation into the incident.
