🔴 Urgent | Putin Renews Russia’s Firm Stance on Syria During Meeting with the Emir of Qatar
Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed Moscow’s readiness to make every effort to preserve Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. This came during his meeting with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Moscow. Putin praised the development of relations between the two countries, considering Qatar one of Russia’s most important partners in the region.
In the context of the official visit, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov revealed details of the visit’s program, which includes talks between President Putin and Emir Tamim at the Grand Kremlin Palace, followed by a ceremony for signing exchanged documents. Regional and international issues of great importance will also be discussed.
The Qatari Emir’s Office confirmed that the visit would focus on ways to enhance bilateral relations and discuss issues of mutual interest.
