🔴 Urgent | The toll of casualties and injuries in Gaza continues to rise amid the worsening health situation

Dr. Mohammed Abu Salmiya, director of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, confirmed that the healthcare system in the region is unable to cope with the large number of casualties resulting from the ongoing Israeli airstrikes.

Abu Salmiya pointed out a severe shortage of medications due to the closure of border crossings, which exacerbates the suffering, emphasizing the significant difficulty medical teams face in reaching the injured due to the current circumstances.

On the other hand, medical sources reported that Israeli airstrikes have claimed the lives of 356 people in Gaza so far.

In a related context, the spokesperson for UNICEF in Gaza announced that the airstrikes have hit tents and facilities housing displaced families, further increasing the suffering of civilians in the region.
