9 ships loaded with grain left Ukraine

The Turkish Ministry of Defense indicated that nine cargo ships loaded with grain exited from Ukrainian ports, as part of the “food deal”.

The military administration issued a statement on the Twitter platform: “Grain shipments continue to leave the Ukrainian ports, as 9 other ships have left.”

Last July 22, Russia and Ukraine signed in Istanbul two separate agreements with Turkey and the United Nations on the export of grain and agricultural products through the Black Sea.

The agreement provides for the export of Ukrainian grain, food and fertilizers through the Black Sea from three ports; The United Nations will also facilitate the export of Russian food commodities and fertilizers, which are being restricted due to sanctions
