A contract to invest in the largest logistics city for Saudi investors outside the Kingdom

A coalition of Saudi investors signed in the capital, Djibouti, the contract for the Saudi Logistics City in the free zone in the port of Djibouti, which is the largest logistics city outside the Kingdom.
The Saudi Logistics City provides access for Saudi products and exports to all countries of the African continent through the location of the Port of Djibouti as a gateway to Africa and an important point for economic and commercial exchanges at the African and global levels.
It is located on an area of ​​120,000 square meters as a first phase, and its contract extends for 92 years and includes a permanent exhibition, a platform for Saudi industries, and a commercial exchange area containing a number of facilities and warehouses.
According to what was reported by the Saudi News Agency “SPA”, the delegation of the Federation of Saudi Chambers to Djibouti was headed by the President of the Federation, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, and the delegation included more than 100 businessmen and women and representatives of some government agencies and bodies.
The delegation’s visit witnessed the holding of the activities of the Saudi-Djibouti Business Forum with the participation of more than 300 ministers, officials and business owners, and they were briefed on the investment and economic opportunities in the free zone in Djibouti and the advantages and facilities provided to investors.
For its part, the competent authorities in Djibouti promised Saudi investors and companies to grant them facilities and advantages completely similar to Djiboutian companies, reviewing the opportunities available in the sectors of renewable energy, tourism, agriculture and technology.
