A famous Lebanese terrorist was sentenced to prison

The Lebanese Military Court sentenced Sheikh Ahmed Al-Assir to 20 years in prison with hard labor after convicting him of involvement in the murder of two soldiers in the Bhanine area of ​​Minieh, northern Lebanon.
And the official Lebanese news agency reported that “the permanent military court headed by Brigadier General Mounir Shehadeh, issued a ruling that imposed a 20-year hard labor sentence against Sheikh Ahmed al-Assir and stripped him of his civil rights, and fined him 51 million Lebanese pounds.”
She added that this ruling came after “convicting him of being involved in the attack on a Lebanese army patrol in the Bhanine – Miniyeh area, which resulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers, and of financing and inciting the group that carried out this attack.”
