A new airline returns to Syria

A statement issued by the Jordanian-Syrian ministerial meetings revealed the return of Royal Jordanian to operate its flights to transport passengers between Jordan and Syria, starting from the third of next October.
The statement said that the conditions of the Jordanian-Syrian Transport Company were discussed for the purpose of finding solutions to the problems it faces, as well as ways of facilitating the flow of goods and facilitating the movement of freight and transporting goods and passengers between the two countries, as well as studying the fees prescribed for trucks.
Informed sources also confirmed to Ammon News Agency on Tuesday morning that Royal Jordanian will resume passenger flights to the Syrian capital, Damascus, starting next month.
On the Jordanian side, the Ministers of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Ali, Water and Irrigation Muhammad Al-Najjar, Transportation Wajih Azaiza, Agriculture Khaled Al-Hanaifat, Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati participated in the meetings, on the Jordanian side, and on the Syrian side the Ministers of Economy and Foreign Trade Muhammad Samer Al-Khalil, and Water Resources Tammam.
