A Syrian child turned into a trend on social media, what is her story?

The 7-year-old Syrian girl, Sham Al-Bakour, won the sixth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge award held in the UAE, while achieving first place in the competition, outperforming millions of other applicants.

The girl was able to read one hundred books, fifty of them registered to enter the competition held by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, and won first place.

The child, who was cared for by her mother after her father’s death, received wide support on social media and gained wide support, especially with the spread of several interviews and spontaneous videos from the scenes of the event held in Dubai, during which she was distinguished by her sound language and balanced speech for a seven-year-old child.
