A Syrian-Lebanese military agreement in Hosh Al-Sayed Ali.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported a confirmation from one of the Syrian army leaders about an agreement reached between the Syrian and Lebanese armies, under which both armies withdrew from the village of “Hosh Al-Sayed Ali,” located on the Syrian-Lebanese border.

The agreement included ensuring the return of civilians to the village and positioning military units from both armies on the outskirts of the village.

Colonel Abdul-Munem Daher, commander of the First Brigade of the 52nd Division in the Syrian Arab Army, stated to SANA that communication and coordination took place between the liaison officer from the ministry and his counterpart in the Lebanese army. This led to an agreement for the withdrawal of the Syrian and Lebanese army units from the lands of the village of “Hosh Al-Sayed Ali,” ensuring the return of civilians to it without any military presence inside, with both sides stationed on the outskirts.

The source affirmed that the Syrian army is committed to the terms of the agreement and will respond appropriately and firmly to any breach by the other side.
