He praised “the support of brothers and friends for the legitimacy and will of the Yemenis, and for restoring state institutions and establishing peace, which would enhance security in our country.”

The Yemeni Vice President had arrived in Doha last Monday, on an official visit, the first since the resumption of relations between the two countries last March, after a rupture of nearly 4 years against the background of the “Gulf crisis”, when the Yemeni government decided to cut diplomatic relations with Doha. In conjunction with a similar measure taken by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain on June 5, 2017.
