After Asil, Ranim Approaches: Meteorological Department Warns of the Strongest Storm in Lebanon

The meteorological department in Lebanon has announced that the country will experience the snowstorm “Ranim,” expected to be the strongest in several years. Forecasts indicate that snow will reach an altitude of 400 meters on the Lebanese coast, accompanied by a harsh frost wave after the storm.
The “Ranim” storm is expected to begin on the evening of Wednesday, February 19, and last for several days. The country will experience a significant drop in temperatures due to the influence of a massive and violent polar front, leading to exceptional cold that may last for more than a week.
It is worth mentioning that Lebanon witnessed the first snowstorm of the year, “Asil,” in early February.
