Al-Bahr saves the Syrian national team from a humiliating loss

Substitute Mahmoud Al-Bahr saved the first Syrian team from a loss against its UAE guest in the second round of the decisive round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
The UAE team advanced early at the 11th minute of the match, after a mistake by Syrian goalkeeper Ibrahim Alama.
Syrian striker Omar Khribin missed several opportunities in front of the goal, ending the first half with the progress of the Emirates.
In the second half, substitute Mahmoud Al-Bahr scored a draw for Syria in his first international goal, to raise Syria’s tally to a point, and remain bottom of the group’s standings.
