Syrian Interior Ministry Declares Al-Hol Camp a Restricted Area under Security Measures

Syrian authorities announced that Al-Hol Camp
and the security prisons where forces have recently been deployed are now fully restricted areas. Access to these sites is prohibited under the risk of legal accountability, according to an official statement issued by the Syrian Interior Ministry.

The ministry stated that the relevant authorities are currently working to secure these locations, monitor the search for escaped detainees suspected of belonging to ISIS, and collect necessary data to manage the security situation in Al-Hol Camp and other related centers.
