Al-Kazemi and Raisi agree to cancel the visa

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, after talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi in Tehran, announced that they had reached an agreement to cancel the visa between Iraq and Iran.
Raisi said in a joint press conference with Al-Kazemi, held after their talks in Tehran today, Sunday, that “several decisions were taken in the joint meeting with Al-Kazemi,” and added that “Al-Kazemi agreed to increase Iran’s share regarding the Arbaeen visitors,” and “it was agreed to cancel the visa.” between Iraq and Iran.
He added, “We have deep relations with Iraq,” noting that “we look forward to strengthening relations between Iraq and Iran.”
On the other hand, Al-Kazemi said that “a set of bilateral files were discussed with the Iranian president, including the file of strengthening brotherly relations and historical ties.”
He also explained that “economic files, railway connectivity and increasing trade exchange were discussed,” stressing “work to transfer common files for the benefit of the Iraqi and Iranian peoples.”
He said, “We thank everyone who stood with Iraq in its war against ISIS,” praising “Iran’s position and standing with Iraq from the first moment in the war against ISIS.”
Today, Sunday, Al-Kazemi arrived at the head of a large government delegation to Tehran, to hold meetings with Iranian officials.
