An official invitation from Iran to Saudi Arabia

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian announced today, Monday, that Iran “will send an invitation to the Saudi monarch, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to visit Iran.”
Abdullahian said, “The King of Saudi Arabia extended an invitation to Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi to visit the Kingdom, and we will send him a similar invitation.”
As for the negotiations of the nuclear agreement, the Iranian foreign minister stated that “there is a law proposal in Parliament to put a ceiling on the nuclear negotiations, and the door of dialogue will not remain open,” stressing Iran’s commitment to cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
He added, “Qatar is always moving in the right track and has played a role in the prisoner exchange talks and the nuclear agreement.”

Saudi Arabia and Iran also reached an agreement sponsored by China that ended more than 7 years of diplomatic estrangement, as it was agreed to reopen embassies between the two countries within a maximum period of two months, according to what they said in a joint statement with their mediator, China.
The statement said: “The three countries announce that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran have reached an agreement that includes agreeing to resume diplomatic relations between them and reopen their embassies and representations within a maximum period of two months.”
