Angham Issues Heartfelt Message Following Medical Treatment in Germany: “Your Support Brought Me Back to Life”
Egyptian singer Angham has spoken publicly for the first time following her return from Germany, where she underwent a complex surgical procedure involving the pancreas. The artist had been on a weeks-long medical journey abroad to address urgent health concerns.
In an emotional audio message shared via Profile News, Angham expressed appreciation to her fans and supporters, noting that their encouragement and prayers played a key role in helping her endure one of the most challenging periods in her life. She described their support as a vital source of strength and recovery.
“Your prayers were my comfort and my medicine, and they helped me hold on—after God’s mercy,” she said. “I can’t express how thankful I am. I was deeply afraid of the idea of leaving my children, but your love gave me the light I needed to return.”
Angham also extended her gratitude to colleagues in the entertainment industry, close friends, and her wider fan base, stating that while she had never experienced such vulnerability before, she did not feel ashamed of it. Rather, the support she received made her feel as though her audience were her extended family.
The singer acknowledged the efforts of the Palestinian surgeon who performed the operation, and the Egyptian doctor who had been monitoring her condition throughout. She also gave special thanks to her mother for her continuous prayers during this difficult time.
Separately, Egyptian media figure Mahmoud Saad announced Angham’s return via his official Facebook page, saying: “I heard Angham’s voice from the plane and told her: thank God for your safe return. Your voice is lighting up Egypt once again.
Saad confirmed that Angham’s condition has stabilized and that she has now entered a recovery phase after responding well to treatment. He noted that doctors had cleared her for travel back to Cairo after completing the critical stages of her recovery.
Angham’s medical procedure in Germany involved the removal of part of the pancreas, following complications that required immediate surgical intervention. She is currently undergoing a comprehensive rehabilitation program aimed at restoring both her physical and emotional well-being, in preparation for resuming her artistic activities.
