Assad punishes two judges in Daraa and Sweida with dismissal

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad today issued two decrees to implement the dismissal sentence against two judges in the courts of Daraa and Sweida.
Syrian media said that Decree 112 stipulated the implementation of the dismissal sentence imposed by the Supreme Judicial Council against Judge Ahmed Saad al-Din Bayan, judge of the Fourth Civil Court of First Instance in the district of Suwayda.
Decree 113 also provided for the implementation of the dismissal sentence imposed by the Supreme Judicial Council against Judge Wassim Ghiath Anis, judge of the Court of First Instance of the Penal Court in Izraa in Daraa.
The dismissal of judges comes directly from the President of the Republic in Syria, and these events are often due to suspicions of corruption or bad behavior.
