Official Iranian TV Reports IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami Assassinated in Israeli Strike near Tehran

Iran’s state television reported early Friday that Major General Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was killed in an Israeli attack on a facility near Tehran. Tasnim News Agency also stated that the strike claimed the lives of nuclear scientists Mehdi Tehrangi and Fereydoun Abbasi, two of the leading figures in Iran’s nuclear program.
