Australia: Gulf States Requested Protection From Drone and Missile Attacks – Canberra

Australia’s foreign minister said several Gulf states have submitted requests for protection against drone and missile attacks.

The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported, citing the foreign minister, that the requests are linked to security concerns over potential attacks.

She confirmed that Australia’s position remains unchanged and that it will not participate in any offensive action against Iran.

She added that Australia’s support for the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran serves what she described as the national interest.

She also stressed that this support will not extend to sending ground troops.
