Australian authorities reimpose restrictions in light of the outbreak of the “Omicron” mutant

Local authorities in Australia’s most populous state of New South Wales re-imposed some restrictions on Friday, after the rate of “Corona” virus infections rose to record levels.

 And the state of New South Wales announced 38,625 new cases of infection, prompting the state’s Prime Minister, Dominique Perotette, to announce regulations banning dancing and singing in bars and nightclubs, and postponing non-urgent surgeries until mid-February.
