Because of inflation.. Turkey introduces new currency

Turkey’s central bank has announced that its branches will begin offering a new currency due to inflation in the country.
Turkish media said the branches of the Turkish Central Bank (TCB) were putting the 5 lirat coin up for trading from next week.
The move follows a rapid deterioration in the Turkish lira’s rate against the United States dollar over the past year, with the Turkish lira exchange rate reaching 30 lira per dollar.
