Breaking | Meeting Begins Between Syrian Interim Government and SDF Representatives

A meeting between the Syrian government committee and representatives of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has just begun at the U.S. military base in Al-Shaddadi, located in the countryside of Hasakah province, northeastern Syria.

The meeting is led by Hussein Salameh, the former governor of Deir ez-Zor, representing the Syrian government, while Mazloum Abdi represents the SDF.

Speaking to a news channel, Mahmoud Habib, the spokesperson for the Northern Democratic Forces, a faction within the SDF, emphasized the importance of forming a joint committee between the Syrian government and the SDF to discuss the agreement signed between the two parties. He also revealed that an eight-committee structure had been agreed upon to address all issues related to the implementation of the plan to integrate the SDF into Syrian state institutions.
