Breaking | Military Operation in Syria’s Coastal Region Halted for These Reasons

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a source in the Ministry of Defense stating that the military operation in Syria’s coastal region has been suspended until individuals who entered the area without security clearance and do not belong to the Syrian military are removed. The source emphasized that the Ministry of Defense forces will continue pursuing armed individuals.

The source confirmed that some individuals entered coastal cities, attacked civilians, and committed thefts in the area. He noted that the ministry had previously formed an emergency committee to monitor violations.

Additionally, reports indicate that thefts have taken place in commercial stores in coastal cities, along with the looting of approximately 200 vehicles, including cars and motorcycles. The ministry assured that all stolen property would be returned to its owners and that those who violated military orders during the recent security operation would be referred to a military court.
