Breaking: Security Incident on the Lebanese-Syrian Border

The National News Agency reported that the Lebanese Red Cross transported three bodies from a location near the earthen berm surrounding the town of Al-Qasr, on the Lebanese-Syrian border, to Hermel Governmental Hospital following clashes and gunfire. Security forces have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.

According to Lebanese local media, four militants from Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham attempted to cross into Syrian territory from the Lebanese town of Al-Qasr in the Bekaa region. However, they were confronted by local tribal gunmen, leading to multiple casualties and injuries among them.
