The future U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, stated that the elected U.S. President, Donald Trump, seeks a stable agreement between Moscow and Kyiv and will be able to achieve it “in a relatively short time.”
In an interview, Kellogg added: “The President (Trump) is very consistent with what he wants, which is to stop the war and bring peace.”
He continued, “This is his top priority in national security, but he wants a fair, sustainable, and lasting peace. We have seen in the past the peace process they tried to implement between Russia and Ukraine, and it failed miserably.”
Kellogg clarified that Trump understands the importance of relations with U.S. allies and Russian President Vladimir Putin, pointing out that Trump can resolve the situation and will do so “in a relatively short time.”
