California wildfires threaten cities

The fires that erupted in a forest in the US state of California are still getting stronger for about two weeks, despite attempts to put them out, but they are finding the right conditions for ignition.
The fires displaced thousands of residents from their homes on the south bank of Lake Tahoe, where 22,000 people were ordered to evacuate their homes approaching the fire.
The “Kaldor Fire” fire is sweeping one of the state’s forests, devouring more than 700 square kilometers, destroying hundreds of buildings, and causing heavy smoke from it to cause great pollution in Northern California.
About 15,000 firefighters have been working since yesterday to extinguish the fires in the state.
