China calls on US to withdraw from Syria immediately

China called on the United States to immediately withdraw its military forces from Syria.
“The United States has intervened illegally in Syria, resulting in the death of a large number of innocent civilians and a serious humanitarian catastrophe, and we therefore call on the United States to respect wholeheartedly the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of other states and to immediately cease its illegal military presence and looting in Syria,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning.
Ning also called on the United States authorities to lift illegal unilateral sanctions against Syria and stop actions that exacerbate the humanitarian situation there.
