China, Japan, and South Korea in unprecedented cooperation to confront U.S. tariffs.

China, Japan, and South Korea have agreed to cooperate in facing the anticipated U.S. tariffs. Japan and South Korea will work on importing raw materials for semiconductors from China, while China is interested in purchasing chip products from them as per the agreement.

The three parties also decided to strengthen cooperation in the supply chain and engage in broader dialogue regarding export controls. Meanwhile, the Trump administration announced new tariffs, including a 25% tax on cars not manufactured in the United States, alongside plans for reciprocal tariffs targeting countries that impose duties on U.S. imports.
