Chinese President visits Putin in days

The Kremlin announced that the Chinese President would visit Russia from 20 to 22 March at President Putin’s invitation.
The Kremlin explained that Presidents Putin and Xi Jinping intend to discuss the development of comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation during the talks.
A number of important bilateral documents will be signed after Putin and his Chinese counterpart’s talks next week.
For its part, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that during the visit, an exchange of views will be held with President Putin on key international and regional issues.
The visit will also deepen the construction of the “Belt and Road” and the Eurasian Economic Union.
“The goal of the Chinese President’s visit to Russia is to deepen confidence between the two sides further,” she said.
