Breaking | Citizen Arrested for Vote Buying in Jdeideh–Metn

The security forces arrested citizen E.M. in flagrante delicto in front of his house in the Sabtiyeh area – Metn District, while he was buying electoral votes in favor of the “Transparency” list in the Municipality of Jdeideh–Bouchrieh–Sedd.

Security sources confirmed that the detainee is currently under investigation under the supervision of the competent judiciary, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure the integrity of the electoral process and prevent any violations that might affect voters’ will.

The security forces are intensifying their presence at various polling centers to support the ongoing municipal and mukhtar elections in Mount Lebanon Governorate, while fully committed to enforcing the law and ensuring the safety of the democratic process.
