Clarification on Angham’s Health and Trip to Germany: Official Statement Denies Cancer Rumors
In recent hours, social media platforms have circulated reports claiming that Egyptian singer Angham has been diagnosed with breast cancer and has traveled abroad to receive treatment. These rumors have sparked concern among her fans and stirred widespread speculation.
However, an official statement released by Angham’s media office categorically denied the claims, stating that the reports about her alleged cancer diagnosis are entirely unfounded and constitute baseless rumors.
The statement clarified that while Angham has indeed traveled to Berlin, Germany, the purpose of her visit is to undergo advanced medical examinations related to a recent pancreatic health issue. The statement emphasized that this matter is unrelated to the rumors being circulated online.
In remarks to Al Arabiya Net, musician Mohamed Ali Suleiman, Angham’s father, expressed surprise at the spread of these claims. He noted that many individuals from both within and outside the artistic community had reached out to him to inquire about his daughter’s condition. Suleiman stated that he was unaware of the rumors circulating online until he received those calls.
He added that the claims regarding Angham’s alleged cancer diagnosis are inaccurate and were shared without verification, causing confusion among family members and concern among fans. He also confirmed that his daughter’s condition is stable, describing it as a minor health issue that required only routine medical assessments abroad for precautionary purposes.
It is worth noting that Angham recently appeared on stage at a well-attended concert in Egypt’s North Coast, where she performed alongside singer Tamer Ashour. Ashour expressed his appreciation for the collaboration and highlighted the positive reception of the songs he had composed for her.
