Closing polls in Lebanon

The polling stations in Lebanon closed the polls for the parliamentary elections at 7 pm Beirut time.
The Lebanese Ministry of Interior said that “the percentage of voting in the parliamentary elections, until five o’clock, was about 32.4 percent.”
Some electoral districts witnessed clashes between the delegates of the candidates and their supporters, especially in the north, which led to the intervention of the Lebanese army to stop the deterioration of the situation.
The vote counting process began immediately after the boxes were closed.
