Crisis chasing Haifa Wehbe
The Lebanese actress Haifa Wehbe is facing a new crisis with her movie “Ramses Paris” after the issuance of a judicial ruling by the Economic Court yesterday bearing No. 18 of 2023, in favor of the French artist BB Nasseri, to stop showing the film, which is scheduled for the blessed Eid Al-Fitr season, until his scenes are deleted from it.
For his part, the legal advisor, Yasser Kantoush, the private lawyer of the French artist, BB Nasseri, issued a press statement in which he confirmed that his client had obtained a court ruling banning the showing of the film, indicating that he would send a copy of this ruling to the General Censorship of Artistic Works to stop the license issued to show the film.
Where the statement said: “Praise be to God, our office obtained this morning a court ruling in Case No. 18 of 2023 dated 4/18/2023 from the Economic Court in favor of the international French artist BB Nasseri, to stop showing public artistic performance in the movie “Ramses Paris” until his image is deleted from All scenes of the film, and tomorrow an official copy of the ruling will be sent to the Censorship of Artistic Works to stop the license issued for showing the film and all concerned parties to implement the law.The office of Counselor Yasser Kantoush confirms all appreciation and respect for the artist Haifa Wehbe, and pride in her confidence in our office as her lawyers, as it is not a party to this crisis And that the conflict is limited between the company producing the film and the French artist B. Nasseri.
