Dollar records record price in Syria

The dollar posted a record price in the Syrian parallel market slightly higher than in recent days.
Today’s dollar/lira exchange rate reached LS 7,600 per dollar.
The euro’s exchange rate rose to 8,200 pounds per euro.
The rise in the price of the dollar in the parallel market comes with a significant rise in the prices of essential items in the country as a result of the blockade, corruption and the solutions to Ramadan.
