Drones in the sky over Copenhagen raise security concerns in Denmark.

The Danish police announced in a statement that they had received a report of 20 drones flying over Køge Harbor, southwest of Copenhagen, on Friday night. This prompted the police to immediately head to the location to verify the credibility of the report. A group of officers managed to see four large drones above the yacht marina, while information from an eyewitness confirmed seeing 20 drones disappearing quickly in Køge Bay.
The police stated that they are still working on determining the total number of drones and their ownership. They also pointed out that no permit had been issued for drone flights in the area at the time of their appearance.
They confirmed that these sightings are not the first, as they are investigating other drone sightings, which has raised security concerns related to hybrid Russian attacks observed in some European countries, in addition to the ongoing Russian war against Ukraine.
