Egypt reveals its reserves of 3 main materials

An Egyptian official confirmed that his country enjoys good reserves of 3 main foodstuffs that are sufficient for several months at a minimum.
He said, in statements to Reuters, that “Egypt’s strategic reserves of wheat are sufficient until the end of this year.”
He added, “Egypt’s strategic reserves of sugar are sufficient for 5 months.”
He pointed out that Egypt’s strategic reserve of rice is sufficient for a period of more than 3 months.
