Egyptian artist dies after struggle with cancer

Egyptian artist Rania Shalan died after a struggle with the disease inside an October 6 hospital, where she suffered from bone cancer.
The late artist Rania Shalaan began her artistic career with musician Fathi Salama, at the end of the 1990s, until she completed her singing career almost 13 years ago, presenting her own style of singing and composing lyrics and melodies, one of her most famous works being “The Fantasy of Doom” and “A Dream”.
