Egyptians abroad choose their president

Today, Friday, the process of voting by Egyptians abroad for the presidential elections began in Egyptian embassies and consulates around the world to choose a president for the country, in preparation for the start of voting at home a few days later on December 10.
Egyptian diplomatic missions continue to receive voters in 137 embassies and consulates around the world, until next Sunday, as the number of Egyptian expatriates is estimated at about 14 million from various countries of the world, distributed in many parts of the world, the majority of them in Saudi Arabia, followed by Latin American countries, then the rest. Arab countries.
Running alongside the current president, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, are the head of the Egyptian Democratic Party, Farid Zahran, the head of the Wafd Party, Abdel-Sanad Yamama, and the head of the Republican People’s Party, Hazem Omar.
Voting is scheduled to take place inside Egypt between the tenth and twelfth of next December, with the results to be announced on the eighteenth.
