Erdogan closes door on Sweden’s NATO membership

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has confirmed that his country will not stand with Sweden in its application to join NATO after the incident of burning the Quran on Swedish soil.
Erdogan said: “Those who have caused such shame in front of our embassy in Stockholm should not expect any honour from us regarding NATO membership applications.”
