Erdogan refused to submit a report to the European Union

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that his country does not intend to submit a report to the European Union regarding participation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Samarkand.

Erdogan said that he is meeting with world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, adding, “I am negotiating with all countries because we are all part of this world.”

The Turkish President indicated that during meetings with European leaders no one asked him such questions, expressing his readiness to hold a dialogue with them in the same way as with members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

The city of Samarkand in Uzbekistan hosted the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit on September 15-16.

It is also mentioned that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is an international organization established in 2001, and its members include Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Russia, China, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, India and Iran.
