Erdogan threatens Sweden and Finland

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened both Finland and Sweden not to agree to join NATO if they fail to implement their pledges.
“Ankara will not ratify Sweden and Finland’s NATO membership application until the promises made by the two countries are fulfilled,” Erdogan said today.
“As long as the promises made to our country are not kept, we will remain on our principled position.”
Finland and Sweden had pledged Turkey’s extradition to individuals considered terrorists by Ankara.
