Erdogan threatens to use heavy weapons

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned that Ankara is ready to use heavy weapons, in response to the military strikes launched by the Syrian government forces on Idlib province.
Erdogan also stated, in statements he made today, Thursday, to reporters accompanying him during his current African tour, that, according to Turkey, it is not permissible to let things in Idlib take their course without interference.
The president indicated that the Turkish army is continuing its “anti-terror operations” in the region and in Syria in particular, saying: “We do not intend to retreat, and we continue this operation in Syria. I do not know now what position the regime will take, but we continue to do everything necessary, Especially with regard to developments in Idlib, and the response with heavy weapons.
