Escalation in the Gulf: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard seizes two oil tankers!

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the seizure of two foreign oil tankers in Gulf waters on charges of fuel smuggling. The tankers, named “Star 1” and “Winteng,” were carrying 3 million liters of diesel with 25 crew members on board. The tankers were taken to Bushehr province under a judicial order to unload the smuggled fuel.

These developments come amid escalating tensions in the Gulf region, with stalled Iranian-American negotiations over Iran’s nuclear file, in addition to aerial operations carried out by the U.S. military against Houthi forces
