The vicinity of the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine and the largest nuclear power plant in Europe was subjected to artillery shelling, the third of its kind within a week, according to what was announced by a source from the administration of the site under the control of the Russian army, who accused forces loyal to Ukrainian President “Vladimir Zelensky” of responsibility for the bombing. .

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dimitro Kuleba, accused Russia of endangering the whole of Europe by converting the station into a military base for it, and demanded that a mission from the Atomic Energy Organization be allowed to visit the station and verify that.

For its part, the Russian Foreign Ministry called on the United Nations and the Atomic Energy Agency to ensure a halt to Kyiv’s attack on the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, while the Kremlin’s spokesman stressed that the Ukrainian bombing could have catastrophic consequences for large areas, including European lands.
