Explosions Reported in Iran Following Israeli Airstrikes After Trump-Netanyahu Call
Iranian media reported an explosion in the city of Babolsar, located in Mazandaran Province in northern Iran, coinciding with the activation of local air defense systems. Two additional blasts were heard in northern parts of the capital, Tehran, according to local sources.
In a related development, Israel’s Kan News and the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (IPBC) reported that the Israeli Air Force conducted airstrikes targeting sites within Iranian territory, including what was described as a military facility. The strikes reportedly followed a phone call between former U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Separately, Israel’s Army Radio stated that the strikes included the targeting of a military radar installation near Tehran.
