FIFA decides not to repeat the match between Egypt and Senegal
The International Football Association “FIFA” announced that the match between Egypt and Senegal will not be repeated in the second leg of the decisive round of the African qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar.
Today, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee revealed its final decisions regarding the events that accompanied the match between the Senegalese national team and its Egyptian guest in the second leg of the decisive round of the African qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The FIFA Disciplinary Committee decided not to repeat the match between Senegal and Egypt.
The committee also decided to impose a fine of 180,000 dollars on the Senegalese Federation, and to hold the next official “Teranga Lions” match without the presence of the fans, due to the failure to implement safety rules, throwing projectiles in the stadium, using fireworks and lasers, and the presence of an offensive banner.
