Fire Breaks Out on American Airlines Plane After Emergency Landing at Denver International Airport
An American Airlines plane was evacuated after a major fire broke out following an emergency landing at Denver International Airport in Colorado, USA.
Videos shared on social media showed smoke billowing from the aircraft.
According to U.S. media reports, the plane made an emergency landing due to engine vibrations before smoke started emanating from its wings, prompting officials to evacuate passengers using emergency slides.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that it would investigate the incident. However, no injuries or casualties among passengers or crew members have been reported.
Notably, this is not the first such incident in the U.S. since the beginning of 2025. Several American aircraft have experienced different malfunctions, including a recent case where a United Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Denver International Airport after its right engine malfunctioned and exploded mid-flight. Fortunately, all 241 passengers and crew members on board remained unharmed.
