The Russian presidency confirmed on Monday that President Vladimir Putin will hold a phone call with his U.S. counterpart, Donald Trump. This was announced by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, who stated that the call will take place on Tuesday but did not specify the topics the two leaders will discuss.

U.S. President Donald Trump previously stated that he plans to discuss ending the war in Ukraine with his Russian counterpart. He mentioned that significant progress has already been made in this regard, referring to “agreements between Moscow and Kyiv involving territories, energy production facilities, and certain assets.”
