France warns of 3 threats to the European economy

France’s finance minister, Bruno Le Maire, considered that economic growth in the European Union could be undermined by an outbreak of the pandemic, a slowdown in China’s economy that creates problems for global supply chains, and inflation.
In this context, Le Maire said, “I see three major risks. The first is the resurgence of the epidemic, and we must be vigilant, and we must be very humble and careful. It is very difficult to say that we are getting rid of the epidemic once and for all.”
The second risk was the slowdown in China, which could lead to difficulties with supply chains, so here too there must be vigilance.
He continued: “Thirdly, there is the topic that we have discussed at length, namely, inflation.”
