From Beijing, Saudi Arabia stresses the ceasefire in Gaza

At the tenth session of the ministerial meeting of the Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum, the Saudi Foreign Minister spoke about China’s positions in continuous support of stopping the war in Gaza in order to achieve the implementation of the two-state solution, stressing in this regard the necessity of an immediate and permanent ceasefire, ensuring sufficient and continuous entry of aid, and finding a reliable and reliable path. A return to the two-state solution, ensuring that the Palestinian people obtain their inherent right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant international legitimacy resolutions.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs pointed out that Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the first Arab-Chinese summit in 2022 AD and the successful visit of His Excellency Chinese President Xi Jinping to Riyadh embodied a historic turning point in the process of joint cooperation in the political, economic and social fields and moving it to the levels of strategic cooperation in a way that achieves the aspirations of the leadership and the common interests of the peoples. .
Prince Faisal said that strengthening and developing joint cooperation relations requires everyone to continue dialogue and consultation in resolving issues in the region through political and peaceful means, and the necessity of preserving the unity and territorial integrity of Arab countries and rejecting foreign interference in them, and continuing efforts to prevent the spread of weapons of mass destruction in the region in order to preserve Security, stability, and preserving national gains.
Stressing the importance of continuing international efforts to combat climate change, to which Arab countries have contributed to preparing national plans to combat climate change, he pointed out that the Kingdom has taken a proactive approach to addressing the effects of climate change by launching the Green Middle East and Green Saudi Arabia initiatives.
